As an attorney practicing family law, I have clients that come to me at what can be the most emotional times in their lives.
Lindsey is a North Carolina resident, raised in Denver. She graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University and received her law degree from Charlotte School of Law. In Law School, Lindsey participated in the Self Serve Clinic for Pro Bono and developed a love of family law. However, Lindsey’s initial step in her legal career was with Shapiro & Ingle, focusing in real estate matters- foreclosures, real estate title, bankruptcy and representation of lender’s rights in contested hearings. Lindsey traveled the state representing her clients’ interests in hearings throughout the state.
Today, Lindsey is pursuing her passion, family law, calling on her prior legal experience working with families who were suffering through extreme financial hardships and assisting them with opportunities to enable them to save their homes. This experience afforded a unique opportunity to assist and save a crucial element of the family dynamic. Lindsey’s experience enabled her to transition into family law with the desire and ability to help her clients navigate the legal process, while understanding their personal needs and long-term objectives.
In representing her client’s interests, Lindsey’s goal is advocacy rooted in practicality. While the perfect scenario allows resolution of family conflicts outside of the courtroom, this is not always attainable. Lindsey works on a personal level with her clients to understand their specific needs, to provide alternatives to litigation, but also to provide an affirmative defense of her client’s interests, including preparation and execution of a comprehensive litigation strategy, where conflict resolution requires judicial intervention. In or out of the courtroom, Lindsey provides professionally effective advocacy for her clients in every aspect of the case.
